Is it possible to resize named scope boxes

Hi everyone,

I'm working with a very complex model with a lot of sheets.

In the model I want to resize te scope boxes of a floor plan.

These scope boxes are named so they can't be resized by using the grips which are normally displayed.

Does anyone know if it is possible to resize another way?

You can resize them in a 3D or plan view.

You're probably asking about the crop region when a view has been assigned with a scope box, where you can't change the size of the crop region. Then you can resize this in a 3D view, which will adjust the crop region.

Hi,
If I open a 3D view and assign the scope box I still can't change the size of it.
There are no grips visible for the designated scope/section box

Don't assign the scope box to the 3d view. If you need it to be assigned to the view then first set the scope box to none and adjust the size. Then assign the view.

In a plan view, hide the crop region and make sure scope boxes are on. Select the scope box and the grips should be there.

Reread the entire thread. All the information you need is there. If you follow all the instructions and still can't resize it, post the file.

As Rob said earlier, it sounds like you might want to un-assign the scope then resize then re-assign.

You need to open a non-cropped view, so do not assign that scope box to the view you want to see it. It is a good idea to have a non-cropped working view for each level so you can see everything. Then you can just select the scope box , stretch the grips and your other view(s) will be updated arcordingly.

You only can do it if you don't have a view already with that specific scope box assigned.

Same problem x2. I've unassigned the problem scope box, but there aren't any other views that is visible in, because I went through to scope box assignment dialogue and made them all invisible except the view that I need it in. So now I can't size, or delete it!
