…. Revit 2020 will not install on systems running Windows 8 or 8.1.

… you need to upgrade to windows 10

There is a way around it...but in the time to modify the file it is probably cheaper to just purchase and install 10...

Also it isn't supported by Autodesk....so any issues you have you will be on your own.

You can install Revit 2020 on Windows 8 and Windows 8.1. Can only be installed via Autodesk desktop app, there is no silly protection in this installation for 2020.
