Create/Customize Leader Arrowhead

There's no way to create or customize a leader arrowhead right? Arrowheads are under graphics, there's no way to get to the graphics parameters or files where the arrowheads live and modify them?

You can make additional sizes of the existing arrowheads. That is all.

Those are NOT arrowheads. They are detail section tails. Or are you using generic annotation symbols in lieu of sections?

I just recognized that myself a few hours ago. But yea, a generic annotation would probably be the way to go.

No, a generic annotation is not the way to go. The point being is Detail section tails CAN be customized easily because they are not arrowheads.

I didn't read your comment thoroughly. I figured a generic annotation would work because I know I can edit those. But the annotation in the images are floor tags, and I just wanted to know if it is possible to change a tags arrowhead (they actually are arrowheads).

I'm confused. Are you talking about the Section Tail? Those are categorized as SECTION MARKS. You can re-categorize a Generic Annotation to Section Mark. Is that what you are wanting to do?

It sounds like you need one.

Floor tags have leaders with arrowheads. Section marks don't.

I wasn't very clear in my original post. I wasn't thinking about all the different types of tags and section markers and annotation. What you are looking at is a FLOOR TAG associated to a floor in a live wall section. We tag the floor with a tag that calls out the sheet and detail number of the UL assembly it refers to. We make the end attachment free and drag the leader all the way through the floor to pick up all the floor components. And I just wanted to see if there was a way to change the floor tags arrowhead to what you see in the picture.

No you can add any custom arrowheads for tags, symbols, keynotes, texts. But, you can use a detail section mark with a custom tail instead of the floor tag. It's better anyway because you can reference the UL detail to the section mark instead of manually typing it to the tag.

So how would a I add a custom arrowhead to a tag? Because what I've tried so far its only possible to change the size or line weight but not the shape. Also, we use tags because we have a sheet number and detail number parameter applied to the floor that refers to UL detail, so when you tag it, it already knows which UL. Also, are you saying to use a reference section? Because that would mean I would have to search through all the views and remember which UL is in which detail on which sheet, and at first glance that could be a little cumbersome.

1. I am not sure how many time we need to repeat that you CANNOT add a custom arrowhead to a tag.

2. Yeah you need to pick the UL view form the list for the reference section detail. Cumbersome versus impossible, pick your poison.
