Yep, the actual wall, cointaining the structure/layers gets attached and cut by the roof, but the sweep continues past it for some reason 😕

The only thing I've found useful is splitting the wall in to two part, and hiding the top one, since I cant delete it.

But I'm pretty sure there's a better solution out there

i used wall:sweep or wall:reveal easy to control but you will do it manually. just saying. thanks

Each end of a sweep can be dragged by its blue-dot end handles to where you want it (reveals, too). In this instance, I added sweeps using "Edit Structure", edited the wall profile, then dragged the ends of the sweeps to where I needed them to go.

Horizontal sweeps can only be cut vertically. If you add a profile multiple times in the wall type assembly editor then the sweeps can be cut follow the wall profile, or can be grip stretched manually. If you add ONE BIG profile that create ONE sweep then what you see is the expected result.

If you use the Attach Top/Base Method, it should work. The sweeps will get cut back for the most part - albeit, they will be squared off. But, you can adjust their end points to overlap the roof gable end and then use Join Geometry between the roof and sweeps to cut back the ends of the sweeps to match the roof slope.

NOTE: No adjustment in sweep length necessary on this one. Just using Join Geometry was enough.

Thanks!

Yep, that's the problem right there. I tried to make the sweep using only on big profile. Created a new one using a smaller profile.

Any idea if its possible to make this parametric? I'd like to create one wall type containing this sweeps - that could work in different projects - regardless of the height of the wall.

How high is high? At present, I don't see any way to have, for instance,
individually-adjustable sweeps 2' apart on a 36' high wall than to
create 18 individual sweeps in Edit Structure > Sweeps. Not too bad, but
that approach could start to get tedious when defining a 200' high wall.
I don't know if Dynamo could automate this or not.

This would be a good suggestion for Revit Ideas -- a sweep or group of
sweeps repeat at a given interval, regardless of the height of the wall.
