My elevations are displaying the stemwalls and footers that are below finished grade, what is the best way to deal with this? I thought of possibly using a white hatch to just mask below the grade line but wondering if there is a better way.

No, I have not. This crossed my mind though.

No worries,

If you have the survey and can use that to created the Topo, this will hide the sub elements in all views.

Until then, you can hide the elements with a Masking Region, or a Filled Region with an Earth Hatch.

Awesome, I will start working on my site plan now. I have an old survey in dwg, I'll see what I can do with that. I don't want to take a lot of your time, but one last question. I assume that I'll have to rotate the lot, rather than the building? Meaning the house will remain true north and south as opposed to the lot being true north?

You can link the DWG in and move/rotate it to match you building, then Acquire Coordinates to get the correct Survey Point and True North from the DWG (assuming it was created with the correct information). There is no need to rotate your building model or messing with Project North/True North after that.

Sounds Good @DrakeCanyonArchitecture

What I recommend is that you Locate the DWG Survey to suit the location of the Model. This means, Move, Rotate and then move it Down, Offset from level the equal value of the Ground Floor RL. For example, if the proposed RL of Ground Floor Level is 32.5m then move the DWG down 32.5m. This will locate the Survey accurately, and the contours in the Survey will be relative to the RL of the building.

Once Located, from the Manage Tab > Location, Choose Acquire Coordinates, then select the DWG in the view. This will locate your model relative to the Survey and keep the Project Origin at 0,0,0,
