The dialog you were writing about for creating a new floor plan will filter out the levels that already have views associated with them. As @ToanDN suggested you just need to uncheck the option at the bottom to reveal the levels in the project.

Views are permanently associated with a Level. As such, the view called Site Plan (is a default view in most templates) ordinarily based on Level 1 (stock name). The base architectural template has a floor plan called Level 1, a ceiling plan for Level 1 and Site Plan. The primary and functional difference between Site Plan and the others is the View Range settings (cutting much higher than a floor or ceiling plan) and which categories are turned off.

A custom template might also be using custom Browser Organization, views that go missing will usually be listed under a branch with ??? which indicates Revit is missing information about the view to sort it properly. It looks like your image has all of the browser visible and I don't see any ??? but if there is more above what we can see in the image it's possible your view is just missing a sorting criteria to be listed properly.

Hello Autodesk..

I'm trying to figure out how to recreate the "Site" Plan that's shown below

I Tried to add it by going to Plan Views > Floor Plan and when i click "Ok" Nothing happens.. What am i doing wrong? Also i want to know how to add the Project Base Point to the Site Plan.

The Site plan already exists in this template..

I was wondering if this Site plan was deleted by mistake, How can i recreate it? I've searched every post regarding this subject on this forum but failed to find the solution i needed.

Basically on this Site plan i can see the project from above without any cut plan.. I only want to know how to recreate it to be exactly like this one.. Just in case i deleted it by mistake.

I'll provide the template file with this post hopefully you can help me out, Thanks in advance.

Arc_Template_NEW.rte [I couldn't attach the template directly to this post so i had to use Mediafire.]

(I didn't create this template)

I'm kinda lost. Are you trying to start a brand new Project using the "Arc Template NEW.rte" Template, or trying to create a Plan View from a Level, which is what you are doing when you go to Plan Views > Floor Plan?

If the Site Plan already exists, you need to locate and open (or insert) the Project, which has an RVT extension.

Do this: Start a NEW Project and browse to and select the "Arc Template NEW.rte" as the Template to use, then report back to us on what you see on the screen.

...and after creating a duplicate view from Level 1 to be named "Site Plan", go into the Visibility/Graphics dialog box for the view and manually turn on the Project Base Point and Survey Point under the Site Category.

You have 3 options:

1. Duplicate your Ground Level Floor Plan and set the View Range. Also under VG setting, Rick Project Base Point under Site Category.

2. Create a plan view for the Ground Level under View Tab. You need to untick the option if you already have a floor plan associated to that level. You still need to turn on the Project Base Point under VG setting.

3. Duplicate a ground level floor plan, apply a site plan view template to it.
