Each has its own pro's and cons and their own capacities and requirements...and most definitely how you prepare your model in Revit.

Insight and GBS are great tools from Autodesk BUT DesignBuilder is a great tool which also works very well with Revit ...I haven't tested DesignBuilder personally so I cant really say where does it rank but from what I have read and heard from colleagues who are more into green buildings and sustainability, EnergyPlus is if not the #1 it falls among the top 3 analysis/simulation tools in the industry... Im may not be an expert but for sure the fact that EnergyPluss is free adds to its popularity 🙂

There are also lots of great similar software that can do the same (Sefaira/OpenStudio/EnergyPlus/…) each have some good features but lack other aspects which another platform offers... if you have experience with DesignBuilder and know how to use it, stick with it 🙂 unless you want to try out something new.

I am also attaching a tutorial for you on DesignBuilder plugin for Revit maybe it could be of any help for you when preparing your model

@Arch.m.dawood wrote:

Can i know which plugin is better and easily and give more correctly number in energy analysis ( daylight , Energy , tempreture and solar......)

Insight OR Design Builder ?

Well, that depends on whether or not you modeled your wall layers separately, or put them into compound wall assemblies.

Just kidding.

Regarding Insight and Design Builder; both are respectible. We intermix both analyses. If you want to get into the weeds on it though, you ought to post your questions on the Insight Energy Forum found here:

https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/insight-energy-forum/bd-p/2022

Heck, you may even have questions of the Insight Lighting and Solar Analysis Forum found here:

https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/lighting-solar-analysis-forum/bd-p/19
