How to adjust dimensions in Revit so they behaved in similar way as in AutoCAD with "Keep dim line with text" Fit setting for a dimension (or dimension style)?

The default Arc/Line options of Leader Type doesn't provide possibility to achieved desired outlook. Am I missing something or this is out of reach of Revit capabilities? Picture of desired outlook attached (screenshot from AutoCAD).

Not sure, alternatively you could use a line based detail item though.

Yeah, sure it's possible to manually draw everything...

But is it possible to use dimensions only without additional manual linework (Detail Line) and have this appearance?

You can set the leader type to line and drag the leader to the side. Set text location to above. If the value changes though that will jump back, so you'd have to lock the value. Don't know any other way, but perhaps someone else does.

edit: ow, I used the leader as dimline extension there. Like below.

Well Autodesk should wake up, it is standard way of dimensioning, when the dimension does not fit - move it out either above or under the line without leader. Start first with oprion of leader - arc, line, none
