    <description>&lt;P&gt;It certainly was at the beginning, you just get used to it. I guess there could be two icons for base and top (not only for this tool) to make it clearer.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;When you start a blend, the icon in the ribbon shows the &lt;EM&gt;top&lt;/EM&gt; highlighted in blue but you are really creating the base. When you create the &lt;EM&gt;top&lt;/EM&gt;, the base is highlighted.&amp;nbsp; Does anyone else find this confusing?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

Are we talking about a model in-place or in a family (not that it matters I think).&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The button just is a go-to top/bottom edit... it is obvious you're working in the other no?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/523491"&gt;@PhilvK&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If you just started the blend command there shouldn't be anything to highlight...unless you are referring to the Edit Top/Base buttons on the panel (&lt;STRONG&gt;The button on the panel usually displays the opposite of what you are editing&lt;/STRONG&gt;).&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;OL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;When you start the blend it requires that one sets the base first while the Edit Top icon is displayed on the panel (one cant start with the top) =&amp;gt; Place Base then Top&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;When you Edit a Blend … One can select to edit either Top of Base.&lt;UL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;If you edit the Base =&amp;gt; Base profile should be highlight and on the panel you would see the Edit Top&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;If you edit the Top =&amp;gt; Top profile should be highlighted and on the panel you would see the Edit Bottom&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/UL&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/OL&gt;&lt;P&gt;At least that's how it works on my screen&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;span class="lia-inline-image-display-wrapper lia-image-align-inline" image-alt="bLEND.png" style="width: 999px;"&gt;&lt;img src="https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/719405i9F6332FB3EB36379/image-size/large?v=v2&amp;amp;px=999" role="button" title="bLEND.png" alt="bLEND.png" /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;In Revit version 2019/2020 the Edit Top and Edit Bottom button don't show simultanously as shown above. So^... I think upgrading would resolve some of your trouble? ^&lt;/P&gt;</description>
