FWIW So it was the last one then if the far clip 'solved' it. The level did not extend over the position of the section, so without the far clip you now look at it as if in elevation. It is still not cutting the section then though, you would have to follow above instructions given also by ToanDN etc. as to actually cut the level. Another good option to explore, is using scope boxes to control where your levels are. You can show those and the levels also in 3d nowadays...

It could be lots of reasons but let's start by checking if the category is visible in view.

Vv>> annotation categories>> make sure that the box beside sections is checked.

You can also click on the bulb at the bottom of the view, if the sections are shown now, select them and click unhide then close the bulb.

Go to visibility graphics (shortcut VG) or go into your selected template.
...See if levels are checked under annotation categories

...and/or if you have any filters in place
...and/or if the levels actually extend over the position of the section

Nothing hidden (BULB)

See VG attached. I'm not sure what the gray bar in the VG is.

I scrolled out very very far but still no levels.

BTW They do show in "Elevations"

In that case, the limit of your levels (you can see it by activating the crop region view) are not intersecting with the section.

You can either change the far clip offset of the section or in elevation drag the end of the level line to make sure it intersects the section.

Select one Level, right click, Select all in project, another right click, Maximize 3D extent. Now the Levels should show in your section without the need to turn off / extend the far clipping.
