topic Error with white font on black background in Revit Architecture Forum

If i, for some reason, wants a white font and put it in on a black region.

Then the text will still appear as black.

This is of course an error, that i still dont understand.

However, i got a workaround.

If you adjust the fontcolor to 254,255,255 instead of 255,255,255

Then it will be shown as white color, instead of black.

I would like Autodesk to take a look at this.

I have tried in Revit 2015, 2016 and 2019.2

Best regards.

@Anonymous wrote:

This is of course an error, that i still dont understand.

It's not an error. Color 7 in AutoCAD is actually white and black and will switch with black and white background colors.

If i print the drawings

The font is still black on a black background.

Happy to hear that it works out in AutoCad.

But it seems like its not the same in Revit.

For most printing tasks that means that white does not print while something very close to white will actually print.
