I'm aware that low walls don't cut below 6', and there are tricks that you can use to get around this, but I have a low wall that does show the exterior layer only when cut. Any ideas why?

if the wall is set to go from Floor 1 to Floor 2 (12') BUT has a negative top offset (-7') making it shorter than 6' it will still show layers.

Very interesting. Your solution worked great in another project, but not in the one I started with, but it does work. Thank you!
