Hello everyone,

I'm trying to print my project using a view template. Apparently everything works fine except for the fact that the view template I am applying is not affecting the objects placed on the level below. For example if I set a certain line weight to furnitures, the process affects all the items in the level I'm in but not the items displayed below. I hope i explained myself.

Is it a problem of revit itself or am I making some mistake?

Thank you.

Try adjusting (View Range) and/or (Clipping Plane) in the View Template.

Can you take us through exactly what you did and where you did it? Maybe screenshots would help too.

Here are some screenshot: the lighter one shows the items as i want it and is taken at level 0; the darker one shows the items from the level above, but in both is applied the same view template.

I noticed that if I change the underlay property from None to the level below, this one turns as I want, except for the fact that all the floors at level 1 turn trasparent (but this is the purpose for the underlay property).

Sounds like you figured it out. That's exactly what it looks like to me too. An Underlay. So you're good?

Actually what I want is to obtain the same result I have when the underlay property is on, but maintaining the floors opaque and not transparent. Hope I explained myself.

In the attached you see what I get when I turn on the underlay property, and actually I don't want to see throush the floor (in the screenshot is shown a mezzanine and the level below).

Let's take a look at your View Template. Actually, just post the RVT.

It was my mistake: I didn't change the below part in the view section accordingly to the underlay property. Thank you for your help, I appreciate.
