topic Ceiling Pattern RCP Linked Models Not Showing in Revit Architecture Forum

So my my model (North Building) I can see my RCP hatch patterns for my apt. unit ceiling that are at two different elevations. However, when now inside the composite model for the project where all the sheets are, etc I can only see one ceiling even though the view ranges are the same. Why would this be?

More details in this video.

Hi,

Thanks for the video, really useful and answers a bunch of queries.

Here's my brain dump of the steps I'd go through to try and see that pattern:

1. Create new RCP view with no filters or overrides

2. Unload all other linked files, including dwgs and rvts

3. Turn off all categories in the host model, override linked model to only show ceilings

4. Set view depth and Bottom another 10 feet, drop cut plane a bit

Out of curiosity, i would probably try and use a filter to override the ceilings grey, just to see what happens.

If none of that works, you might need to create a stripped out couple of files and upload them for us to play with 🙂

Hope that helps,

Mark
