topic Modify Dynamo script to select all elements on a certain level in Revit Architecture Forum

I downloaded the script ChangeLevelBySelection.zip a while ago - don't know where from. It's a Dynamo script to change the level of elements. Now I happen to have a project with a couple of 'rogue' levels which I would like to delete. But: lots of elements on those levels. So the aforementioned script would be the solution to this problem, except one has to manually select the elements of which you want to change the level. That's a bit of a show-stopper. Been searching for Dynamo scripts to select elements by level and found a couple of screen shots doing the trick. And then the second show-stopper pops up - I haven't have much knowledge of Dynamo; I can't figure out how to add this select-by-level-thing to the script.

Tried a work-around like creating a multi-category schedule and use this to select elements by level. Unfortunately, such a schedule doesn't contain all the needed categories.

My hope is someone get me going with the dynamo script in such a way I simply have to select the level to be removed and the target level?

It would be best if you show screenshots of your script (what you have sofar) or even better upload the script.

Based on that we could help you in the right direction.

To get you n the way these are possible nodes that can help you with selection of elements on a level

Never mind. It doesn't work for all categories. In this case, I need to change the Base Constraint of a lot of walls and the script doesn't change that.

Anyway, I did find an app to select elements by level: ElementSelector Pro by TwentyTwo. (free).

It would be possble to modify the script to adapt to that sitiuation. Take the time to learn Dynamo. You will find many use cases for it in your work.
