Modifying the appearance of Radial Dimensions

I'm looking for a way, but not finding much luck to modify the appearance of the radial dimensions in my drawings. I don't want long leader lines going back to the center of the radius, instead I'd rather then lead just point at the arc and list it's radius, giving me the ability to pick between the inside of the arc and the outside.

I can fake it of course, but I feel like that is the inelegant way to achieve this. I'm not asking for something that Autodesk doesn't do just fine in AutoCAD, but I can't find how to make it work in Revit.

Welp, there's your problem. Revit cannot do everything that AutoCAD can.

Seems to me @RobDraw's statement there is quite useful to realize... Now, I can see how that doesn't help you much further with whatever you're trying to achieve, but then you should also consider that it is your own issue/question you want to relay there. And if you get an answer you're not happy with, perhaps the question needs some refinement aswell... an image says more then a thousand words fyi.... and I think @barthbradley just dragged the blue centerpoint to the outside after placement fwiw...

Just drag the center dot to the outside. Easy breezy.

Do you mean something useful like this post here that you just wrote? Funny, I don't remember seeing any rules against giving good advice. There are some people that will tell you to forget everything you learned in AutoCAD because Revit is a totally different program and never mind the fact that it wasn't initially written by Autodesk. Just because you didn't like the way I said it, is no reason to go on the attack. Someday a knee jerk reaction like that might backfire on you and you will miss quality advice..

BTW, personal insults are against the rules here.

Just to give this thread a definite answer -

This is for Revit 2025 (and possibly earlier, I'm fairly certain I've done it in previous releases): Highlight the radial dimension, drag and pull the blue dot grip at the center of the radius to where you want the line to start.
