      <title>REVIT FLAG FAMILY</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi anyone here knows how to make a flag pole. I made a family resulting to this (see image below). Just trying to make a simple flag. How to make the image not set into tile appearance.       <description>&lt;P&gt;If you do it by By Material Browser ,then it's OK how you did..&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;UL&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;No tile&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Adjust the Scale to fit your object&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Adjust the Offset of the mapped image
&lt;UL&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;from my experience , if you work in metric, you have to adjust this offset:
&lt;UL&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;turn the Preview &amp;gt;Scene to Canvas to have a visual control of what you do, and change the Offset value so to look OK in this Preview.&amp;nbsp; For me , it works well if this offset is : X = -Half Scale value and&amp;nbsp; Y = - Half Scale value&amp;nbsp;&lt;/LI&gt;

&lt;/UL&gt;

&lt;LI&gt;Another way , more simple ( if you do not work in Revit LT) is to use a Decal&lt;/LI&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Revit tiling is terrible. It doesn't placed the image from origin point and place it in the middle of the surface. So I would keep it tile and then just change the offset to half of width and height. As a result, you should see flag fill in the entire model.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;span class="lia-inline-image-display-wrapper lia-image-align-inline" image-alt="flag.png" style="width: 725px;"&gt;&lt;img src="https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/860542i4A7C6CF85C8550B2/image-dimensions/725x391?v=v2" width="725" height="391" role="button" title="flag.png" alt="flag.png" /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
