Change demensions af a family loaded in a project

I want to change the demensions of a family loaded in the project. I made the family myself, demensions of the family are 'types' but when the family is loaded in to my project i can't change the dementions in the 'properties', see image below with the read circles. The dementions in the properties pannel ar grey en there is only an 'volume' demention. What am i doing wrong?

Hi,

The properties you see when selecting a element are the instance properties.

Click on Edit type, here the type properties can be edited. (this happend then for all those types!)

Structure of elements: Family -> Type -> instance! (where instance are the actually placed objects)

This volume parameter is a system parameter as you can find area for some other stuff...

By the way, you could create your own volume formula with parameters calculated by width*height*lenght.

So when you find those parameter inside edit type, the volume will update by himself.
