Please make it happen. It should be a no brainer that you can just create dependent views with different View templates and you only have to work on 1 view, that would be a Working View Floor Plan. There you can change, annotate etc., and automatically it is updated on you other Dependent Views which each has it's own Custom View Template.

For ex. you have your main floor plan (overall) make a duplicate with detailing or just duplicate. Then from the one that you just duplicate make your dependent view. This way you can apply a template you overall and another you dependent views.

I know that, I can make it work creating non-dependent views as I have previously done, it's just that I wanted to see if there is a possibility to have what I asked for.

I know that dependent means dependent, just wanted to know if it is possible to somehow create a view in which you do all the work, all annotations, models etc. and from that you can generate all other views with view templates. I know you can do this at the end creating new floor plans (non-dependent), it's just that along the way I need all the views for reviews and meetings and that would save a lot of manual work.

If it's not possible, as it is beginning to look like, then okay. But just wanted to hear from more knowledgeable people than me before letting it go.

If you look at the pic. that Post it you will understand. When you create a dependent view the template you have in main view is going to take over those dependent. If you need to create other plan view in different scale with a different template you need to duplicated with detailing. this is the only way you can apply a different templates to your views.

Foundation Overall.

foundation plan and all the dependents.

Foundation plan Ramp - 1

Foundation Plan ramp - 2

I have 3 templates of each. Foundation overall, foundation, and foundation ramp.)

I understand that, but it defeats the purpose of having 1 main view that you work, annotate and do everything and then by having view templates (if it was possible) you could control what views have which of the models and annotations.
