Can you create a Wall Type Schedule that show the various materials that make up a single wall type? For example this information would be in the schedule...

In the schedule if I have Material: Name and don't itemize it looks like this (no materials)...

If I turn on "Itemize every instance" then it has multiple lines for each wall type...

Any method to list all of the materials under one Mark Type entry?

Thank you

Sure. You can sort and group and filter by a unique identifier. Try "Mark".

...try this:

Don't know if you are looking for this type of look but here's an example of I have done in the past:

To do this you need to check the header button in the Sorting/Grouping tab in Schedule Properties:

Hope this helps.

Kory Skoog

BIM Manager

Can you order the material list to match the construction order. i.e. siding first, then sheeting, then wood structure? It appears to just list in alphabetical order.
