Graphics card is updated, and I just checked for Revit updates (v.2021). No change.

I've attached a very small version of the model with one unit.

Since my coworker can plot just fine I doubt you will be able to replicate the issue, but thank you for looking into it.

It seems limited to my machine and I don't understand why.

Edges plotting white from 3D view - not missing, but white

I have a weird, frustrating problem.

I'm making simple marketing drawings of unit plans. They're comprised of two views layered over each other - 2D linework showing the doors/walls and some text, and furniture shown in 3D with realistic shading, no shadows, and edges enabled.

They're not attractive images but it's what the client wants. This method worked consistently before, but I've been switched to a different computer and now the edges will only print white and it's driving me insane!

From the exact same file but a different computer my coworker can still plot the images correctly, but mine will not come out correctly no matter what I change. I've toggled edges (they disappear when 'off' but come back white when turned on), flipped on and off shadows, nothing.

Why are my 3D images plotting with white edges? Please help!

And just to be clear, these white edges can still be turned off. This is not because I don't have 'show edges' checked in graphic display options.

I've attached two images - one with the correct black edges showing and one with the abomination that comes out of my machine.

Thank you for any assistance. I haven't found anyone else with this problem in the archives.

Did you update your graphic card and update Revit? Can you upload sample to see if we can replicate your issue.

I just figured it out and it's the dumbest bug.

Autodesk, please fix this problem! Or actually, how do I properly report it?

My options weren't exactly like yours - I have my background set to a dark color instead of white. My coworker also has his background set to white.

As soon as I changed my background to white it plotted correctly, which makes NO SENSE.

It wasn't like this before and someone must have screwed something up in the new install package of Revit. There's literally no reason for the user-picked colors of paperspace to affect plotting.

Hahahaha man I have been struggling with this issue now on a model and could not understand why this model prints white outlines. I checked all settings and when on a call with a colleague I went into graphics and made a joke saying let me change my background to white maybe then it prints black. What a surprised to see it actually worked. This is stupid I always work on a black background and I have never had this issue.

My colleague checked his model in 2020 and it prints black edges no matter the background.

So Autodesk please fix this stupid issue

Thanks
