Unable to Select Show Depth

I am unable to turn on the Depth Cueing Graphic Display Option (the Show Depth button is greyed out/locked). I have verified the Discipline is set to Architectural and I have Depth Clipping set to Clip with Line. Of course I also do not have a View Template applied either. Revit 2020.2

Please see attached screenshot and let me know if I am missing anything, thanks!

Depth Cueing is only applicable to Elevations and Sections.

@rauburn You might be able to use view/selection filters to get a similar effect if you must, although it might not be worth the trouble and also can't tell what kind of depth you want to show in these floorplans...

If you want a plan with Depth Cueing use a horizontal section (ie: Place the section >> Rotate it 90 degrees to generate a floor plan (then you have access to Depth Cueing)

You can copy dimensions and most of the tags from the initial Plan view and paste aligned to the Section/Floor Plan except for Room Tags and Color Scheme you will need to re-apply
You will loose benefit of View Range and it's Graphics tricks when it comes to certain family behavior (generic models above cut plane) to compensate for this you would need to adjust the level at which you place the Horizontal section.

Awesome, thanks all for the quick replies! Indeed the problem I am trying to resolve is actually trying to figure out why one particular detail view on my detail sheet is printing to Bluebeam PDF with "jagged" pixelated curves. One thought was perhaps something to do with Depth Cueing, but I can now defnitively rule that out as the problem.

I'll re-post my original problem to the board to keep it separate from this conversation for future reference. Stay tuned to this channel!

I must have mistakenly replied to another post...the question was on how to get access to Depth Cueing in a floor plan lol

Edit: ah! @rauburn now I've noticed that's you! the dude from New Orleans with the adaptive components and overhangs issue...you always ask about something when you are actually looking for something else...I should keep that in mind for next time
