Hi have drawn a garage and the doors on the front wall show correct on floor plan and 3D view however on the elevations they show on the rear wall as well, have tried different doors and wall types and is not happening on the main house which separate. If i do hide in view on the rear wall it then creates a void in the wall where the door were?

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

did you follow my suggestion earlier? if you don't want them to see in that view just select the door> right click and selec hide elementt in view. thanks

Yep I tried that and what was weird was it left the rear wall open where the doors where shown.

You should try modifying the family. It probably has something to do with the extents of the void.

The walls are opposite each other but is there a chance that they are joined using the join tool?

I think your door family has some model lines or geometry extending farther than where they need to be. I am thinking the overhead rails since you mentioned a garage door. You can share the door family and we can determine if it is the case before digging in your actual project.
