Cannot Get Simple Walls to Join Properly No Matter What I do.

I've been trying to clean up the joint between two simple walls, and so far I've beeen unsucsessful.

1. The walls are not load bearing

2. They are simple architectural interior walls. (steel studs with gypsum both sides, wall sweeps top and bottom)

3. They are the same height

4. I've tried all options with the wall join tool

5. I've tried using the blue grips on each wall to see if I need to allow/disallow joins.

6. I've tried trim/extend corner tools

7. I've tried taking room bounding on and off.

8. I've played around with the wrapping the ends and inserts in the properties

9. I've googled everything I can think to google for.

The only solution to my problem is to entirely delete the walls, and redraw them.

I've attached a screenshot. The walls on the bottom are the ones I'm trying to fix. The ones on top I drew fresh, and that only works with corners, not when the intersect like a T.

If both are cut by the view"s cut plane....Check the properties Palette...You most likely are using an Underlay

If you set that to none, those lines should be gone

If you change them to a different wall type do they join?

Have you tried using the wall joins tool and toggling through the options it presents? (screen shot attached)
