Hello everyone,

I've developed a DLL that displays a progress bar in the Revit status bar. If you're interested in trying out this feature, you can download the DLL for both Revit 2023 and 2024 versions from the following link:

https://github.com/SpeedCAD/SCADtools.Revit.UI.ProgressMeter

I hope this tool is useful!

When I looked at the GitHub link, I was expecting an open-source project...

I wonder how it works, and if could work in old Revit versions.

Hi Master,

I haven't posted the code yet because I'm in the process of writing some things, and I may add it there.

I don't believe it will work in older versions of Revit, and I haven't tested it because I'm developing my projects from Revit 2023 onwards

Thank you for sharing this. Please note, however, that such an offer is utterly useless if not equipped with a license file.

https://duckduckgo.com/?q=software+without+license

A license file is required regardless of whether it is proprietary, closed source, or open source. You need to give explicit permission for people to use your copyrighted property.

Hi,

I've just released a new update where an issue has been fixed when users deactivated the status bar through the View->User Interface tab. I thought it was important to post this on the forum in case someone is using this utility.

You can download the update from the following link:

SCADtools.Revit.UI.ProgressMeter v1.0.1
