Help with regeneration when loading family symbol

Revit 2013:

I'm currently trying to load family symbols into my model using LoadFamilySymbol but it's taking upwards of 40 seconds to load one family symbol (it is a reasonably complicated family but I need to load it as quickly as possible nonetheless). The time seems to be taken up when it does the regen after loading.

I thought that as the only RegenerationOption is Manual, that it wouldn't do a Regen unti I told it to or until the transaction was committed.

Is there a way to postpone the regen until I've loaded all of my symbols and I commit the transaction?

Unfortunately there isnt any way at the moment, to postpone the regeneration after loading a family/symbol.
