Hi all,

I really would like to try eStorage for Revit - the June 2012 ADN plugin of the month.

Is it available for 2014 versions of Revit ? 2013 version of the DLL doesn't work on 2014 products...

Thanks a lot for your help.

Best regards.

Maxime

Unfortunately a newer version of this does not exist in the Autodesk Exchange Apps site. The Labs version did come with the source code so perhaps an ADN member could be contracted to port it for you?

Exactly. Autodesk Labs made plugins of the month available to show people how easy it was to develop their own applications. That's why each ADN plugin of the month included the source code. You are free to take that source code and adapt it to work with Revit 2014 or you can contract that to a 3rd party or Autodesk consulting. Our aim was never to provide free perpetual eStorage for Revit functionality. I am glad you found the functionality valuable though.

When the plugins were on the Labs site, it was about the source code so people could use them as examples. Some ADN partners like JTB World have since picked them up and are supporting and offering them in the App Exchange.

Hi Jeremy,

I managed to upgrade the plugin without a problem indeed.

I am just trying to add a new functionnality based on what you did : StoreOnFile, which would allow only one file (typically a .log file) to be stored on the Revit file.

I didn't find a way to create an uninstanciated element to e-store the file on...perhaps you have an idea 🙂

Thanks.

Maxime
