Create part schedules for individual assemblies

We are using the assemblies feature of Revit quite a bit now. For each assembly, we create a parts list schedule. Revit doesn't not allow for me to apply a view template that includes all of the fields to be added...so you have to build each schedule by hand for each assembly. We have to do the same work over and over again for each assembly parts list. I'd like to automate this with the revit api. How do I add a parts list to an assembly object in Revit through the api?

I'm having this exact issue 11 years later. being able to copy the layout of a schedule and apply it over the top of another Parts List would be very handy.
