Hi,

What happens ? Do you get an error, some kind of message ? Did you resolve all the "obsolete" warnings ?

We made an add-in in 2009 that allowed users to import a fan schedule, place models, and add their shared parameters to our models. In 2014 this no longer works and we cannot get it to work. is this possible in 2014? I can post a clip of the code tomorrow if it will help. I do not see any changes in the API update that would affect this. Thanks.

I am not an API guru but I find it very hard to believe that your add-in could survive the changes since v2009 API and 2014. They have been constantly changing things since 2009 and a fair bit of code retirement has taken place in the process, retired in favor of new sytax and process. You'll need to review the current API SDK and compare everything against how you approach the add-in back then.

We have had to update the code every year. I cannot find any changes in the SDK that apply for the 2014 release. It worked great in 2013 and was wondering if I had missed something.
