topic Fire Alarms and MEP in Revit API Forum

Hi,
In revit mep 2015 is there anyway I can give a device an imported property? For example..I have a load sheet in Excel for all my voltage drops batt calcs etc and I would like to be able to tell a horn strobe device if set to 15 cd specify my current draw that it saves into a table and then finally be able to build a device count what would be better is if I can build an entire library for the manufacture I use with part numbers etc. I am trying to automate the process the best I can. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Dear Firealarmdesigner,

Please look at the FireRating SDK sample.

It is also included in the Revit API Xtra training labs:

Best regards,
