&lt;P&gt;Without knowing more about the context it is really hard to say anything helpful.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I assume&amp;nbsp;you are placing lamps using an overload or the NewFamilyInstance method.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;You can specify any XYZ insertion point you like there.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <title>Getting the position of lamp in the CAD drawing</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I want to draw a layout of one floor in Addin.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The background picture&amp;nbsp;of the floor has been set in the Addin.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Now I want to put some lamps' icons on the backgroud pictture.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;To show the&amp;nbsp;relative postion of each lamps correctly, I want to use the poision informaion of lamps designed in Revit.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Could you give me some advice&amp;nbsp;about it ?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks you very much !&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
