Transform transient solid

This is probably an easy one, even so im a little stuck right now.

Is there any way of moving a transient solid ?

(Other than creating a new one with correct coordinates)

Thing is i need to intersect two elements that doesnt physically intersect. (Makes no sense right)

Electrical engineers draw there cable trays almost to the wall. (about a 10cm gap to the wall on each side)

But they still need a void in the wall as if it where passing through.

So i get the transient solid from the cabletray with the intention of moving it to the wall.
(That is moving just the transient solid not the cable tray itself)

Then do ExecuteBooleanOperation between the transient tray solid and the wall solids.

To get a provision for void for non-intersecting elements.

But..how to move the tray solid ?

Dont need much code just a tip in the right direction 🙂

I realized that the solids i got from the tray was not transient at all.

Even after some unite operations they where still element geometry.

So i used GetTransformed() to obtain a transient copy which i can manipulate.

And GetTransformed() needs a Transform to work.

Perfect as i can copy and apply the transformation in one operation.

Case closed 🙂
