Merge 2 walls on the same line (Revit 2016)

Hello, guys,

is here a away to merge (not to join) 2 similar (e.g. same type, height, width etc.) walls located on the same line using Revit API?

In Revit UI it is possible to do it by dragging end point of a wall to an end point of another wall (see attached file merged_by_Revit_UI.jpg). Using Revit API it is possible to join (not to merge) these walls, however there are still 2 walls (see attached file joined_by_Revit_API.jpg).

Hi,

perhaps you need to call doc.Regenerate() method after adjusting the Walls.

Hey, Revitalizer,

calling method doc.Regenerate() after recreating location line of wall does not merge walls 😞
