FBXExportOptions - export just the visible elements in a view

How can I set the properties of FBXExportOptions() so it will export just the visible elements in the selected views?

If I'm using the default:

options = FBXExportOptions()

when I run:

doc.Export(folder, i.Name + ".fbx", fbx_set, options)

it will export the entire document grouping based on materials, and all the selected views export the same thing.

Help greatly appreciated!

Hey there,

What's in the "fbx_set"?

Try exporting just the current view, like so:

Autodesk.Revit.DB.View activeView = doc.ActiveView;
ViewSet fbx_set = new ViewSet();
fbx_set.Insert(activeView);

Make sure you are not in temporary isolated mode. That should export only the visible parameters for that current view.
