The walls of the rooms are arranged differently as in the pictures attached. When I place my families on them, it turns out that the families are located not as required. Therefore, the family must be rotated. But to what degree do you rotate families? for each wall there must be a different angle. 180, 90, 45.
I wanted to learn how to determine the angle of a wall

When I use the method of inserting a family, I encounter a problem, my family is horizontal, but the walls are at different angles. Is there any way to determine the rotation of the wall?

What rotation?

Are they vertical?

In that case, around the Z axis?

In that case, just grab the location line (or curve) and determine the angle of its tangent.

If your walls are slanted, not vertical, you will have to determine their inner or outer face and its normal vector.

In that case, I would call the property you want the orientation rather than the rotation.

When discussing a rotation, you always need to specify the rotation axis, or the term makes no sense.

Cheers,
