Get Data from .rvt files without using Revit

Hi !

I know this "issue" has been asked a lot but all I found was from 2016 and i don't know if things have changed since.

It is possible to get information about a rvt file without using Revit add in ?

What we would like to achieve is to make a independant c# dll that will receive a rvt file and make somes operation on it ex:

- get title of the project

- get projects informations

Is there a way to do that kind of thing?

Dear Maxence,

Yes, this has been discussed frequently since then.

The easiest way to go will be to wait for Forge Design Automation for Revit to be released.

It is expected some time next year.
