How to send the revit file to my server ?

Hi,

When I tried to upload the revit file through the plugin Revit gave IO Exception that file is used by Revit process.

How I can send the revit file to my server ?

I do not want to send it Revit server but to my own server and here Revit process is not allowing me to send the file when I am using my Revit plugin.
