I should add that we are exporting individual assemblies as SAT 3D files from the Revit model to support our production process. We are not looking to simply export the comprehensive/cover model.

Greetings,

We are attempting to generate SAT 3D ortho files for use in BIM360 automatically each time a version of a Revit model is uploaded by our engineers and hosted in BIM. We know how to do this using a Revit API plugin, but that does not remove the human component of having to download a detached Revit model, perform the exports and then manually upload back to BIM360.

Is my only option to use Design Automation for Revit (DA4R) or continue my manual method? Or is there another option that would allow me to do this automation in a low-code or no-code manner directly in BIM360 or the Forge API? (we have very limited development resources).

I was reviewing Model Derivative API and BIM360 API and I do not see what I am looking for there.

Thanks,
Chris
