Transform any kind of MeasurementType of a ReferencePoint to NormalizedCurveParameter

At the intersection of analytical elements, a ReferencePoint is created that stores the position of the intersection on the element. This position can be measured in a lot of ways within Revit:

- Non-Normalized Curve Parameter

- Normalized Curve Parameter

- Segment Length

- Normalized Segment Length

- Chord Length

- Angle (for arcs)

I can get the measurement type and its value is via API. The problem is that via Lookup I can only see the measurement type that the user has selected in the UI. It would be helpful if all measurement types could be converted to a single one so the values can be comparable.

1) Is there a way to get the value for any measurement type via API (not only the type selected)? It would make little sense to me that the API only returns a certain representation of the curve parameter, when in fact it can calculate all of them.

2) If there is no such way, is there a way to reliably convert ALL possible measurement types to one of them, say Normalized Curve Parameter?
