topic How to deal with "Severity-Error" in Design Automation for Revit in Revit API Forum

I know I can "swallow" the error in a standard Revit instance, but how can I deal with it in Design Automation.

I'm trying to open a file using DA. This file has some links that cannot be loaded, and this leads to some errors. I would like to "catch" and dismiss the Error, but since the Revit instance in the cloud doesn't have a GUI I don't know how to do it.

Any ideas?

Two answers:

A. This is the wrong place for your question. All Design Automation and APS questions should be addressed to the appropriate APS help channels on StackOverflow:

https://aps.autodesk.com/get-help

B. If you cannot "swallow" the error it is fatal. APS supports a fully automated workflow with no user interface. Fatal errors lead to failure. There is nothing you can do about that.

So, a third answer to boot:

C. Ensure that you have no unresolved links in APS.
