UPDATE:

A more detailed explanation of the problem...

When Recap Photo is launched, this message pops up, which takes me to the update page.

Recap Photo Update Prompt

I have fully read the forum post https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/recap-forum/unable-to-open-recap-photo/m-p/7727946#M13216, which includes a final solution as going into the update manager and downloading any updates. The update manager looks like this. There were no further solutions.

Additionally, the control panel lists the version of Recap Photo as being 18.2.0.8, which I believed was the latest version.

Finally, this only happens with Recap Photo. Recap Pro is not affected and works fine until the button that opens Recap Photo is pressed. Then, the update message comes up again. I am also on an educational license, using Windows 8. Uninstalling and reinstalling Recap Photo does not alleviate the problem.

Please help if you can. I am willing to provide any information necessary to solve this problem.
