Unable to import .rdbx files and .rsp project Riegl formats

Hi,

I tried several times and on different computers to import in Recap Pro .rdbx files or .rsp project produced by Riscan Pro and Riegl scanner.

But it seems that this import options don't work.

I solved temporarily the problem exporting from riscan pro a .ptx file and importing it in recap but this isn't the best workflow that I want to follow.

So do you know why recap always gives this error message during importing of .rdbx files or .rsp project?

Hi Anil,

our version of Recap is the 5.0.0.40. I share you a dropbox link with a .rdbx file as example.

I've this problem with all .rdbx files and .rsp riscan projects.

Hi @Anonymous,

Thank you for sharing requested information. Looks like you are using older version of ReCap Pro. Latest version of ReCap is 5.0.2.41, pleas click on these two updates to update your ReCap to latest version:

5.0.1.30
5.0.2.41

I just got confirmation from development team saying that at this time ReCap Pro doesn't support RDBX file type. Please review help document on Supported File Formats for more information. Let me know if this helps.

Hi Anil,

thank you for your support. I think it will be a good news to import .rdbx files in Recap in the future for all Riegl users. Waiting for this, we'll try to solve this lack by the ways you suggested us.
