YES THIS IS MY CSV, I TRIED TO SAVE THE CSV TO VARIOUS CSV TYPES IN EXCEL BUT ALL GIVE THE SAME ERROR

Thanks for posting your CSV.
Your CSV is formatted with a BOM, a Byte Order Mark. In Notepad++ remove the BOM, re-save as a text (TXT) file, then ReCap will accept it.

Hi Dave, follow these steps and it's not working, maybe I'm missing something. how did you do it? First I downloaded Notepad++ then I opened the Point csv file in Notepa++, then I removed the BOM, and saved the file in NOrmal txt File. can you send me back this file?

You did everything same as me and it should have worked. What version of ReCap do you have? I'm running 2024.
I've found Notepad++ is the quickest way to remove the BOM and re-save. Sometimes I use Excel to re-save to a CSV, but ReCap doesn't seem to like CSV and prefers TXT format.

Hi Dave, I see that our files are different and I can't insert yours. Where do you usually import this data into the recap? im using 2024 versio of recap. student version

I've got the "pro" version of ReCap, but I don't think that should make a difference.
I drag-n-dropped the TXT file into ReCap.
Another thing to try, after removing the BOM, is to change the ".csv" ending to ".xyz".

Hi Dave, you are helping me a lot in this process, I have already managed to import the coordinates, but my total objective is to form a line based on these coordinates within the recap, would that be possible. a line like this in blue using only coordinates, since recap does not allow us to draw 3d lines

For drawing lines you'll need to use AutoCAD or other software like CloudCompare or QGIS.

Hi Dave, I already bought a cloudworx key that allows me to draw these lines, but I really wanted to present this work in recap pro to my client, my idea was to extract coordinates from these lines using AutoCAD lisp, then take this information in format of coordinates for the recap, and put some notes on these lines

Well, there is a way to draw lines and annotate features in ReCap, but I haven't gotten it to work yet. I'm still learning about >>>This<<<.
