Project Didn't stitch with unknown failure

I upload two drone missions to the cloud on Sunday. One stitched and processed fine and the other didn't and says "Project failed with and unknown error." The photos all appear fine and the flight path was steady. Can someone reach out to me to have it reprocessed? The project in the cloud is called 15153ThomasRd

Hi Austin,

We resubmitted the project but it has failed at the same point at the 3D matching step.

Any differences between the 2 different projects you ran? Or survey information used? And the camera models?

If it's possible to share the set with me, I will validate it directly with the engine. If Yes then I can PM you a one drive link where you can upload the dataset.

Hello, I have the same problem. I uploaded a drone mission to the cloud and photos did not stitch. I uploaded the project twice.

The projects were flown identically. Same drone, same settings, same camera. How should I send you the data set?

Thank you for the dataset.

I gave a run in both UTM and NY state plane TCS and in both cases, it failed at feature matching. It does look like our engine is not being able to handle this particular set. I am going to experiment by using a partial set and removing some images to see if we are able to stitch them. Perhaps I will try to remove some of the images in the diamond-shaped flight plan at every intersection and see.

Just a question: Is the other drone set also all greenery?

The other set was the round island set. It was a lot of trees and some of the river. It didn't come out great but it did stitcj

Hi @akeyXHWHT ,

I was able to generate a nice result with NY state plane when I removed the green fielded area. I reduced the photos to 154 and all stitched nicely with good outputs. As I suspected the green plains area on the left top corner of the flight plan has too many hard shadows and also those areas are very similar between shots. So I decided to remove them and run and it worked.

I will upload the results for you in the same link as you shared your images.
