The fact that this issue persists even in a new Revit model removes the potential that this problem is caused by your Revit model, so that helps narrow the issue.

Based upon the information provided, it certainly seems like this problem is related to some known issues in Revit with Point Cloud data located very far from the scan's origin point. The way Revit's graphics pipleline currently does math introduces some wonky artifacts when the scan data coordinate values become ginormous. I know we have some fixes planned in this area, but that likely doesn't help you now.

What's the logical next step is to confirm the location of the scan data relative to the origin defined in the RCP file. I'm not sure if that is possible using ReCap 360, or you need the desktop version of ReCap to determine. I'm hoping my ReCap brethren can point you towards the best method to 1) determine this, and 2) move the origin closer to the data if it's far away.

If you find that the scan data is in fact close to the origin, then we have something new that I don't recognize, and our team will need to obtain the dataset so they can debug why it's not displaying properly.
