Two fixes/changes were made here for 2017 (3.0):

Unchecking the decimation button now sets it to 0 (same behavior as enabling the button but entering '0'). As you might have noticed, this was wrong before ('off' gave you the default of 5mm, not 0).

The setting is now 'sticky' per user - it will stay the same across runs of the program

Hope this helps,

About the Decimation Grid under Scan Settings:

I need to minimize this for vehicle scans. I can set it to zero (default is 5).

I often forget, register, start cleaning, then remember and start over.

It appears there is no way to set this and save it as my new default. Is this true?

Second, I discovered you can click on the blue DC Icon to the left of the slider and it grays out. I assume this means it is disabled. So I went to the online help and it says nothing about the ability to grey out that icon. So it this the same as setting it to zero? (And please document all your features).

Thanks,

Buck Wyckoff

BDSI

Very good.

I set the slider to Zero and that didn't stick, but I never tried the button state.

Thanks.
