can i export files in *.xyz format or can i convert export files ti xyz?

Just an idea, never tried it but

- export in the e57 file format

- try the trial of Scalypso.

or Faro Scene LT, or perhaps Bentley Pointools if you have it...

There also must be other software available that can do the trick.

ReCap provides the option for PTS export which is a text (ASCII) based export format where the first entry in the exported file is the number of records, followed by a newline, followed by newline separated point records formatted as a whitespace separated list of position(xyz), color (rgb), intensity values.

Here is an example of the first 10 lines of a PTS files exported from ReCap Pro:

PTS files can be easily manipulated with the tool of your choosing.
