Is there a way to create the pset definition within the script? It looks I could amend an existing pset, but not creating one from scratch. Thanks in advance.

This final Rail Back to Basics video will review the different reports in Civil 3D look at Project Explorer. It also briefly covers Dynamo for Civil 3D and how it can add to the corridor model.

I would like to know if the Standarized Data Tool can be coupled with Dynamo, and if that is the case, how I should write such code. What I am trying to do to is to automatically populate the values of a user defined property set for a sleeper. The source data is contained in a PostgresSQL data bank. At the moment I do not seem to find proper documentation for the SDT. Thank you.

It is possible. We have done this in other Dynamo scripts where we placed OCS poles that contained property data. I will include the sample script that can be used for a reference. This particular script used a CSV file to place the poles and add property data.

This particular example will revise existing property sets. I would need to check but I am not sure if the capability exists yet to create a property set. You may want to check the Autodesk Dynamo forum page to see if there is more information about creating the kind of information.
So this is one of the draw backs with this procedure. You will need to create the property set information first then populate it with the dynamo script.

Good morning.

Congratulations on the work done.

Is there any possibility of you making the spreadsheets and these blocks of the post and sleepers available?

I have been trying to build them with 3D blocks, but I have not been successful.
In fact, if you could make all the example files available for in-depth study it would be spectacular, however, I would be grateful if you could send anything.

Thank you very much for your attention, greetings from Brazil.

Hi Ben. Thanks for these videos. I'm particularly interested in more rail dynamo workflows. Do we have sample scripts that autodesk can provide focusing on those? Is the Dynamic Envelope script available to share?
