Request for Original Installation Media for Autodesk Inventor 2011 (Perpetual License)

Hello guys and Autodesk Support Team,

I hope you are doing well.

the company where i work owns a perpetual license of Autodesk Inventor Professional 2011, including the original serial number and product key. Unfortunately, the workstation where the software was originally installed suffered a hardware failure, and as a result, we no longer have access to the installed software.

We still have valid proof of ownership and our original license information, but we no longer have access to the original installation media. We attempted to retrieve the installer from the damaged machine’s hard drive, but it was not possible.

Since Inventor 2011 is considered a legacy product and is no longer available on the Autodesk website, I would like to kindly request official access to the original installation files (ISO or installer) so that we can reinstall the software legally using our existing perpetual license.

i fully understand that Inventor 2011 is not supported anymore, but i would greatly appreciate assistance in recovering the installer, as i need it to maintain compatibility with existing engineering projects and workflows.

Hi @thiago_alvesSVCAR, Autodesk provides Previous Version download support for up to three versions back. Since we are currently on the 2026 release, this means that download links are available for versions 2023 through current. Prior to this, there are no download links (or physical media) available. Please see supported versions here: https://www.autodesk.com/support/account/manage/versions/previous-versions. We apologize for the inconvenience.

I’ve asked our support team to send you a new email today with the policy details. If you have any follow-up questions, just reply to that email within 30 days to reopen your case. The team can take another look once it’s reopened, though any response will still be based on our current policies.
