i want to re-install my autocad 2008 but the activation code is missing. i don't now were it is. the serial number of the product is xxx-xxxxxxxxx

can you please let me now the activation code so that i can use my autocad cause i really need it for my studies. thanks in advance..

You shouldn't post any of the product numbers here, people will steal it.

You run Autocad and activate it online.

Sounds like a pirated software.
Your reseller should provide your serial number.

Students can get AutoCAD 2012 for free from http://www.autodesk.com/edcommunity

i dont remmember well....here in autodesk i got the autocad 2012...it works OK..but i dont like it and i wanted the 2008 version....

If you requested a DVD back then, they gave you 30 days to play with it.

Did you decide to pay for it ? a few thousands dollars ?

Autodesk wouldn't make a dime selling old stuff, so your best bet is to use 2012

Hi,

a) 000-00000000 is not a valid serial number

b) you won't get a code with no lincense-information (company, name, adress, ...)

c) you won't get a code from anyone in this forum as this is not the place for getting activation codes

So you have to go the same name all others do: during activation (where you saw the request-code) you see methods of how to activate (direct through internet, by mail, by fax).

You can get AutoCAD 2011, 12 or 13 for free from http://www.autodesk.com/edcommunity

and set it to look and save like 2008.

Install and follow the on-screen instructions to activate your license.

If you have downloaded AutoCAD 2008 today I would guess it was not from an official Autodesk-site.

Additionally here (in the forum) is no place for auth-code-requests, you have either to contact your dealer or Autodesk through the subscription-center. You can also read >>>this info<<< about activation-codes.

BTW: don't think that Autodesk will send activation-codes without knowing who you are and what serial-number you have. 😉

Hi, I have a regular license for AUTOCAD LT 2008 and I have been using it until few days ago.

Now I am no longer able to access the tool because I get an " error 11 " too many reactivations. I have installed this software only on my work PC and never tried to install it anywhere else.

I have contacted the help desk and they provided a new activation code, but it was only a temporary code, after some days I have the same problem and can't work.

Can you please let me know how to reset this activation status and have my software working properly ?
